Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP believes in supporting the community in any way we can. We sponsor a variety of non-profits that uplift the community through supporting youth, businesses, and more. Check out some of the organizations we support:
Project Success of Eastern Bureau County
Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP donated $2,500 to the Hall Township Food Pantry in Bureau County.
Project Success is an initiative that aims to create community events and programs that strengthen family units. Their program to raise money for the Hall Township Food Pantry is a unique one that gives families in need a chance to “shop” for the items they need and want rather than be given a pre-packaged box of food. The food pantry is called a Client-Choice pantry.
Ottawa Soccer Club
The Ottawa Soccer Club is a non-profit that gives children the opportunity to develop soccer skills in a supportive environment. Young athletes work on improving their game, fitness, and sportsmanship—all while building their love for soccer. Our sponsorship helps reduce the costs of team activities, equipment, referee fees, and field maintenance, which helps more athletes have the chance to participate in the club and enjoy all it has to offer.
Hometown Hero Contest
The National Band Hometown Hero Sweepstakes gives Peru citizens a chance to recognize an important person in their lives. The five semi-finalists win a fifty dollar gift card. One person will win a shopping spree at the Peru HyVee. We sponsor this contest to honor those who have made a significant impact in the lives of others.
Prairie State Legal Services Pig Roast
Prairie State Legal Services serves those in Bureau, LaSalle, & Putnam. They offer legal counsel to low income individuals, children, veterans, seniors, and victims of violence. Prairie State understands that pursuing a civil legal claim could affect their safety, health, housing, and stability. Our firm sponsors the Pig Roast to help Prairie State help those who need experienced professionals to stand with them as they go through the legal process.
Fill the Truck with Food
“Fill the Truck with Food” is a food drive benefiting the Illinois Valley Food Pantry. Put on by Classic Hits 106, a local radio station, our law firm hosted a power hour during the event. We challenged the community to donate and if they did so during that hour, we’d match the donations up to $500. That hour, $595 were donated. Upon visiting the food pantry, the firm donated $1,000. You can watch the check presentation here.
The Illinois Valley Food Pantry assists about 750 families per month. Emergency circumstances like lack of employment, insufficient income, no additional aid, and depleted family resources can put families in difficult situations. By supporting the IVFP, our firm aims to support the families of our community.
Illinois Valley Realtor’s Association
We sponsor the Illinois Valley Realtor’s Association because this allows managing brokers, brokers, and affiliates to discuss ideas, opportunities, and can communicate at the local, state, and national level with a clear voice. They strive to maintain the highest standards when working with each other and the citizens of Illinois.
The Special Olympics allows athletes with disabilities to play the sports they love. Athletes can work on physical fitness while also build their self-confidence and social skills as they connect with fellow athletes and coaches. We’re proud to support an organization that is grounded in uplifting others in the community.
St. Bede Athletics
The athletes at St. Bede are encouraged to play the sports they love while also learning how to maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports while using the skills of teamwork and leadership in all aspects of life. We support St. Bede athletics so high school students have the opportunity to compete in individual and team sports and benefit from participating in them.
LaSalle Boys Baseball League
We’re proud sponsors of LaSalle Boys Baseball League, so young athletes can play ball and work on team building, skill development, and sportsmanship.
