SGKR Sponsors Q Hit Music Teacher of the Year Award
Erica Burgess, the Reading Interventionist for sixth – eighth–grade students at Lincoln Jr. High School in La Salle, IL, is this year’s winner of the Q Hit Music Teacher of the Year award.
The winner was announced at the end-of-the-year luncheon for the LaSalle Elementary Schools last week. Our own Mike Krzak of Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP was on hand to present Burgess with the award and accompanying $1,000 prize.
The entire team at SGKR extends our warmest congratulations to Erica Burgess! Her dedication, hard work, and teaching excellence were recognized by student parents who nominated her for this award honoring an exceptional educator. Calls for Q Hit Music Teacher of the Year nominations were promoted in sponsorship by Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP through Shaw Local Radio stations WIVQ Spring Valley and WSTQ Streator.
As a Reading Interventionist, Erica Burgess plays an essential role in helping junior high school students develop the reading and language arts skills necessary for academic growth.
