After being admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1994, Mr. Glassman spent the first seven years of his legal career at a prestigious Chicago law firm representing employers and insurance companies in defense of workers’ compensation cases. In 2001, Mr. Glassman joined the litigation team at Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP, where he has successfully represented thousands of injured workers in his 18 years at the firm. Mr. Glassman now spends the majority of his time representing injured workers before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and in State Courts. Mr. Glassman also represents clients with employment issues before the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and in State Courts.
Mr. Glassman believes in strong communication with his clients, so that they are involved in every step of their case. He treats each of his clients, no matter how big or small of a case, with the utmost respect and compassion. He has maintained lasting relationships and friendships with the clients he has represented. His past experience of working for insurance companies and employers on the “other side” of workers’ compensation cases gives him a distinct advantage over other attorneys in obtaining successful outcomes against his opponents. His in-depth knowledge of the process from “both sides of the fence” allows him to skillfully navigate each case to obtain the best results for his clients.
Mr. Glassman and his wife, Susan, have two daughters who are currently in college. He has lived in the Illinois Valley community since joining Schweickert, Ganassin, Krzak, Rundio, LLP. Fred is service-oriented and believes in giving back. He contributes time and effort to local charities and has served as the Exalted Ruler for his local Elks Club.
