Elizabeth C. Vicars is a distinguished attorney with a strong focus on Workers’ Compensation Law. Born and raised in Illinois, Elizabeth laid the foundation for her legal career at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2014.
Elizabeth’s journey into the legal field began in 2011 when she joined a prominent Chicago-based law firm specializing in workers’ compensation defense as a Law Clerk. Her dedication and legal acumen quickly propelled her career, leading to her promotion to the role of Associate Attorney upon graduating in 2014. Remarkably, by 2021, Elizabeth became the youngest Partner at the same firm, a testament to her exceptional skills and commitment to the field.
Throughout her tenure, Elizabeth demonstrated her expertise by efficiently managing the defense of employers in workers’ compensation cases spanning various industries, including transportation, distribution, manufacturing, construction, trucking, and others. This experience equipped her with a deep understanding of the methods and tactics employed in defending such cases, establishing her as a formidable force in the realm of workers’ compensation law.
In 2023, Elizabeth made the strategic move to Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio, LLP, where she joined its team of highly experienced personal injury and workers’ compensation lawyers. Drawing on her extensive background in representing employers, she now advocates for work injury victims and their families. Her unique perspective from “the other side” provides her clients with a distinct competitive advantage.
