Adriane LaShure is a hard-working, intelligent and seasoned attorney. She is service-oriented and brings a zest for the practice of law to the office and courthouse every single day. She believes in a simple principle which sets her apart from many lawyers – client first. She puts in the time and effort necessary on each case to ensure that her clients are fully represented and that their case is prepared for trial so that she can obtain the best results for each client. She also takes the time to make sure her clients understand the legal process.
Ms. LaShure has extensive experience in trying cases and in presenting cases for resolution through alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation. She joined the firm upon her graduation from Fordham University School of Law in 2008. Since joining the firm, Ms. LaShure has successfully represented thousands of injured individuals. Ms. LaShure carries a caseload that covers a wide variety of personal injury work, including — vehicular (car, motorcycle and trucking) crash cases; wrongful death cases; pedestrian injury cases; bicycle crash cases; and premises liability cases to name a few. She has secured numerous settlements in excess of $1,000,000.
Before going to law school, Ms. LaShure worked as an insurance adjuster for a large insurance company. This experience gives her a distinct advantage over other attorneys – she knows how the “other side” evaluates and defends cases. This gives her a unique perspective and the ability to understand how to best prepare cases to get better results.
Even before she began to practice law, Ms. LaShure’s strong work ethic and orientation towards service was evident. While in law school, she was a member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law; a Research Assistant to Faculty of the Fordham Conflict Resolution and Appropriate Dispute Resolution Program; a member of the Domestic Violence Advocacy Center Uncontested Divorce Project; a teacher for the Legal Education and Advocacy Program; a Fordham Student Sponsored Fellowship Volunteer; the team captain for the Fordham Law School AIDS Walk New York team; and the recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.
Ms. LaShure has been named one of Super Lawyers Rising Stars every year since 2013.
Ms. LaShure and her husband, Nick, have two sons. She is involved in the community, bar organizations and a number of charitable organizations.
