Laura Hall, Attorney at Law

Laura Hall is a trial lawyer who works with a sense of urgency for her clients. Her philosophy is a simple one — maintain your integrity and work tirelessly to get your clients a just result. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago (Class of 2002) and Northern Illinois University College of Law (Class of 2006).

Throughout law school, Laura was an intern with the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office.  She was later selected by the American Bar Association to serve as the sole Law Student Liaison to the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence.

After graduating from law school, Laura returned to her hometown of Ottawa where she spent the first 10 years of her career serving the citizens of LaSalle County working as an Assistant State’s Attorney for LaSalle County. She was a trusted resource for the State’s Attorney’s office and quickly became an accomplished prosecutor.  She has prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and has extensive trial experience, including over a hundred bench trials and over thirty jury trials.   Laura’s substantial trial experience gives her a distinct advantage over other attorneys in obtaining successful outcomes for her clients, both through settlement and litigation.  If the result is not right and a case needs to be tried, Laura does not hesitate to go to trial.

True to her roots as a prosecutor, Laura strongly values fighting for justice on behalf individuals who have been injured by wrongdoers.  This made it a natural transition for her to leave the prosecutor’s office and join Schweickert, Ganassin, Krzak Rundio, LLP to fight for the rights of injured workers and hold wrongdoers accountable.

Laura Hall was born and raised in Ottawa, Illinois.  She attended Marquette High School in Ottawa.  Growing up in the Illinois Valley taught Laura the value of hard work and standing up for what is right.  Laura became a lawyer to have the opportunity to help those in need, and her efforts every day assisting hard-working individuals who have been injured at work gives her the opportunity to do just that.  Laura is active in her neighborhood and believes in giving back to the community she grew up in.

Schweickert, Ganassin, Krzak, Rundio is proud to have Laura as a dedicated member of the team.
